What Does it Mean That the Bible Is Objective Truth?
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever
Psalm 119:160
The God who created the universe is a God who speaks. The Bible is not merely human words—it is God’s Word. It is true and never changes because it comes from God himself.
God’s truth does not shift based upon people, opinions, cultures, or times. The Bible is true for all people, in all places, for all generations. It remains true no matter what anyone thinks, feels, or believes. It is our highest authority and the standard by which we measure everything.
Just as any message means what its author intended, so God’s Word still carries the meaning given by its authors when it was written—both human and divine. We do not create or discover truth within ourselves. Truth comes from God through his Word. When we believe and live by the Bible, we build our lives on what is absolute, certain, and unchanging.
