A Truth to Believe
What does it mean that the Bible is Objective truth?
The God who created the universe is a God who speaks. The Bible is not merely human words—it is God’s Word. It is true and never changes because it comes from God himself.
God’s truth does not shift based upon people, opinions, cultures, or times. The Bible is true for all people, in all places, for all generations. It remains true no matter what anyone thinks, feels, or believes. It is our highest authority and the standard by which we measure everything.
Just as any message means what its author intended, so God’s Word still carries the meaning given by its authors when it was written—both human and divine.
We do not create or discover truth within ourselves. Truth comes from God through his Word. When we believe and live by the Bible, we build our lives on what is absolute, certain, and unchanging.
The sum of your word is truth, and every one of your righteous rules endures forever (Psalm 119:160)
Something about Living
We could make quite significant contributions if we did two things:
1. Define a particular goal that has as its aim the good of others and glorifying God.
2. Remain focused and disciplined to take small steps toward this end each day.
Focused actions turn into intentional days that make up a well-lived life.
A Quote
Christianity is not a matter of outward appearances but of inward transformation.
“It is not the cleaning of the hand that makes the Christian, for many a hypocrite can show as fair a hand as he; but the purifying, watching, and right ordering of the heart; that is the thing that provokes so many sad complaints, and costs so many deep groans and tears.”
Working on the heart is different than working with the hands.

A Booklist
Nothing is more central to the Christian faith than the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Here are our favorite books specifically about the gospel and how it relates to all of life.
